so wait. not locking in your champion pick kicks you out of champ select?

just got lucky for once and got last pick. i selected my champion and wanted some extra time to adjust my runes so i didnt lock in yet, because there is not much time anymore to think about your runes on the spot due to the shorter timers.

instead of auto locking my selected champion, it kicked me out of champ sleect and put me on timer? what kind of garbage is this?

i understand this happening when you dont select a champion or even ban at all, but if youre gonna do that, then put an extra 5 seconds on the timer before the game starts so even last pick has some time to work out his runes for the game.

do you know how rarely i get last pick? in past seasons i also had my runes and masteries worked out. not to mention the timers werent always this short, so in the past i didnt need the extra time.

its not that long since riot cut a lot off the timers in champ select.

this is the first time that happened to me since the client update.

this seems more of a you issue than anything else. This has been a thing for a while and it was actually announced when it got implemented.

at least in preseason. i was put on the spot to pick my champion due to my opponents pick being last aswell. so i needed some time to figure out which runes i wanted to take against the enemy teamcomp.

if i had locked in, i would have had 10 seocnds or less for my decision process. at least give me 15 seconds.

seems to me more of a you problem than anyone else. Maybe you should actually start thinking what you want to pick and tinker your mastery page in advance instead of waiting until it's your turn to do everything. You have all the time in the world to tinker with your mastery page since you are last pick. Sorry but no! this has been a thing for about a year... maybe more? not sure. You have had more than enough time to know that this was a thing specially when people were complaining about it at the start and then they got used to not leaving everything to the very last second.

When you are last pick, you got the extra time while the other guys are all picking.

Never had a problem getting my runes when I was last pick.

not when your lane opponent is last pick aswell and drafts before you.

im not deciding on the champion im playing before my lane opponent did if i can avoid it. that would be retarded. top lane is heavily counterpick influenced. you cant just pick whatever the fuck you want or half the time youll screw yourself over.

excuuuse me that i didnt want to pick garen into fucking teemo and needed a moment to decide which champion ill pick instead and then what rune setup i take.

this is how people constantly counterpick themselves and then get smashed.

if i dont know which champion im going to pick, i dont know which rune setup i need yet.

i am not the one whining because he has the most time out of everyone to tinker with your mastery pages yet say that he does not have enough time. You are last pick. Start tinkering right from the start. Stop trying to make a problem where there is none. You have more than enough time to adjust anything you want. Use it. You could have been given 30 more seconds and you would still not have enough time if you need any more time at all when you are LAST PICK!

not my problem nor riots. You should have at least an idea of what you want to pick and start tinkering right from the get go. Something shows up that makes you change your plan? then you start tinkering again. Everyone is able to do this. Why do you need to be given extra time? you can even just make a generic page that most champions in a certain role can use and use that as a template. You being last pick means you have the longest time of everyone to decide what you want to use. You don't need extra time. Hell you want to get extra time? it's your turn? hover the champion you want, tinker with your masteries and when the timer's about to run out then you lock the champion which gives you a little extra time to finish tinkering if you haven't done so
