How do you beat Cho'gath?

We all now his stats were buffed 2 months ago, and now has infinite feast stacks. But with a champion with so many strengths, I see little weaknesses. He was good AP ratio's: 100% ability power on rupture, has utility: silence and slow, is still classified as a tank, has sustain, maintains good wave clear with: vorpal spikes + rupture, and does true damage with his ult ._.

I know he's slow and immobile but I don't see how this "balances" with the rest of him.

DPS mages, Anivia, Cassiopeia, Ryze, Brand %health damage Also kite him, he has no mobility and his only CC is pretty slow and not too hard to dodge

Isn't he supposed to counter mages, especially those that rely on close range burst? I mean, his feral scream basically makes trading impossible, even at level 1 with a 1.5-second silence. Kiting, I agree, but it's the laning phase I'm struggling with.

His Rapture wouldn't be hard to dodge if it's radius wasn't as big as a tower.

Play Cho and get a feel for its range; if you're not horribly out of position, he'll have to try and land you on a portion of it. You can generally skirt out by hitting to the sides.

You definitely want options against Cho that allow you to play with his ranges.

bork / liandries

2 'tanky' items and hes forever out of kill range from his burst combo and then you just win by kiting him.

mages can go item 3165 item 3116 item 3151 for handling him

adcs can go item 3153 item 3139item 3022 (more than enough, but feel free to also throw in a maw/cleaver/phantom dancer for ultimate denial) ((may end up having to build GA, cleaver, maw anyway to have the hp total to take the burst))

This is what I needed to know. I only handle mages in mid so this build will help.

hes gona stack health so get % health damage and potentially crowd control

try something like this on a mobile champ item 3153 item 3071 item 3022 item 3026

either merc or swift boots

that should get you 150 AD, 25% atk speed, 1100 hp, 20% cdr, phage, armor shred, on-hit slows, 8% target current hp as physical damage, 15% lifesteal, an active move-speed-stealing ability, and a rez in case you get flash ulted by him.

last item situational I suppose.

it's more of a fighter build since cho players will likely try to do the bullshit gargoyle full tank build. I think quinn would probably work well with this since she also has a decent blind debuff/disable and her backflip to self-peel probably lucian too for his doubletaps and vayne because she already does anti-tank shit with her kit. cait likely as well since she's longer than long range and has her traps and net to self peel tristana maybe since shehas that Q atk speed buff to really pound out lots of procs for bork, can disengage, and can push away.
