But thank you. The last two seasons I would win a ranked game and get 10 lp and lose 30-40 lp for a loss. This season i've been getting 20-30 lp for a win and losing 10-15 lp for a loss.

its because your mmr hasn't normalized with your rank yet. your mmr says you should be at a higher rank than what you are so it gives you more lp for each win.

Yeah but i don't understand why that would be though. I hardly played ranked last two seasons because it was actually impossible for me to climb out of ranked unless i won every game. This season is the first time i've had a chance to climb out of bronze.
