why is assist gold low now?

Assists are what supports relied on to keep up with the team, so what gives?

Support is the one role that does not farm, supports were never ment keep up in gold and supports items are cheap for that exact reason.

Support items may be cheaper.. but when i get my adc fed and on 1st recall the adc still has 900-1100 more gold then i do is still irksome.. yes they get the extra gold from farming.. but i still have every bit of need for that gold from kill/bounties as the person who last hit does..

Lmao, and yet supports still have in the midgame 2-3 more items than anyone else. People wanted more solo carry so Riot decreased the assist gold.
