Assassin winrates are actually higher than adc's right now

Good thing we're gutting that cancer infinity edge though. ADC's clearly WAY too strong.

ADC win-rates are kinda misleading considering they are (almost) only matched against other ADCs.

That doesn't prove or disprove anything. I could argue that win rates for mages and melee champions are misleading because they're almost always matched against each other.

Top and mid have a wide variety of champions that go to those lanes with a good mix of ranged and melee from various classes. Botlane is almost always marksman vs marksman with the supports being varied.

What's your point? Who cares if bot lane is always marksman? That's the way it's always been.

The point is that you cant say winrates are misleading for other roles the same way they are for marksmen when the other roles matchups aren't as binary as ADC vs ADC.

... its means everything.. you could argue that and u still have no point... the point is winrate does nothing to represent the state of a "class", only that of a champion

since there is an ADC on both sides of every single team.. every time an adc loses a game on on one team.. the other adc on the opposing team wins a game.

ADC could be the worst class in the game, or the best class (like now), and it would have no effect on the winrate of the class. becuase -1 + 1 = 0

This disproves the fact you can use the statement "assassins have a higher winrate than adc" and not look like a retard. Because your statement doesn't mean anything in an assassin vs adc comparison, since, as we already said, ADC HAVE 100% PICK RATE THEREFORE A PURE 50% WINRATE LITERALLY NO MATTER HOW STRONG THEY ARE. They could get their base stats multiplied by 80, and still have 50% winrate... because both teams picks them, and one of the two teams wins.

Fuck's sake dude, it's basic logic here

You gotta account for other factors too and not just winrate. Like with Kai'sa being banned in over half the games played, and Ezreal being played in over half the games played. These things will increase and decrease your winrate along with other things.

Yes you're right that adc's have higher play rates, but you also have to remember that the number of adc's being played in bot is actually a lot lower than other roles. If you look on champion.gg, there's about 40 different champions that play mid, and about 50 different top laners. We only have about 20 adc's in the game, and the strongest ones are either played constantly are banned. There are some exceptions. Ezreal isn't played because he's strong. He's played when you want an adc that's a little bit safer than other champions (Xayah falls into this category as well).

That's not how win rates work. Win rates are always comparative to others in the role.

I have really grown to HATE adc's. I used to love playing that class but it sickens me when I see some low skilled player standing still autoing everyone to death while being kept alive by a lulu / janna / soraka bot. It's lost it's skill set as far as needing to position very well and attack move.

You realize the supports do the same thing with assassins right? Yea it's really annoying when the support dedicates their life to keep the adc alive, but they can do the exact same thing with assassins too.

Never mind all the free sustain introduced with the mastery rework, lol.

I dont see that surprising really, this board inability to comprehend that adcs are not really that broken is beyond me, while assasins when they get ahead and they do, they have huge carry potential. I am adc main, but I play assasins aswell, Its child play to contest bot on a fed assasin, the adc has to resign any lane priority as you might be at any time lurking to kill him if you actively focus on bot, and since he has almost no counterplay to that depending on comp, and yes some of you may say oh but just place wards against assasins, and nobody mentions duskblade, so easy to come bot for kills, on top of that i never understood how people think that wards are counterplay, vision is great but it doesnt give you counterplay on its own, counterplay means that you can face a more fed opponent and outplay him in a way so you end up killing him or end in a better trade, or escape whatever, vision can play a role in that, but most likely on adc you are just gonna give away lane priority and go for early group rather than being in lane vs a fed assasin, its just fact, counterplay really needs to involve some form of ability to fight the opponent, not just flash away to run and still die because zed hit R, ignite and 1 auto attack, and then missed everything else in his kit, but thats still somehow enough to kill you anyways.

Shh, you're ruining the narrative of the Boards with statistics and facts, don't you realize this is a place for emotional, baseless, bullshit arguments?

Assassins (and Aurelions Sol's) winrates went up, with the mana changes whiched reduced waveclearing speed for most mages. They have more time to oam now.

Also, you cannot compare the winrate of assassins with the winrate of ADCs. ADCs are in every game wether there is an assassin on one of the teams or not.
