Why don't more people start Spellthief's on Jhin? (and upgrade it)

The bonus move speed you get from the little minigame is pretty darn good on Jhin, I think.

I tend to buy it pretty frequently. If I'm really feeling froggy, and I find I'm having one of those games where I don't get ahead, and I'm getting more assists than kills, I'll even upgrade it into the eye sightstone thingy, and relegate myself to being a 2nd support that also does a fair bit of damage.

Typically I'll go item 3303 item 2003 item 2003 item 2003

Eventually getting item 3134 item 1001 item 3098

And of course item 3142item 3009 item 3147 item 3094 (or item 3031 instead of duskblade if I'm not going lethality) for my core

But I definitely upgrade to frostfang, and as I said I'll even get the full item 2301 sometimes if I'm behind enough to only really be getting assists.

Does anyone else do this?

If you are able to stack and generally aren't running into item 3303 de-activating on you often then you are probably poking more than farming in the lane phase, which itself isn't a good thing. And that's the reason why you don't see ADCs use it

I do poke a lot on Jhin, but I'm also in Gold, so I still haven't reached the elo where anyone CSs better than me yet.

Still have adcs that have 120-150 cs at the 25 minute mark in my elo. So I can afford to miss some. (I pretty routinely have 180-220 by 25)

It takes too long to Stack since it deactivates upon Killing Minions and the Stats aint Wörth the gold. The relic shield Line is bought since it does Not deactivate upon Minion Kills and gives more sustain and survivablity with the shield later on.

I never have any trouble stacking it up. You get the bandit passive on it now, so you get consistent gold throughout the game, especially if your support is a relic support who's regularly killing minions near you. Then once you transition to mid/late game, your team is killing all kinds of minions around you.

Plus if you just fire off your W before you start farming every time you come back to lane, that helps. Every once in a while you'll get lucky and someone will step on a trap, too.

But yeah, I usually have mine stacked up by 20 minutes or so. Maybe less if I'm really paying attention to it and trying to get it.

Still Most likely to costly and abusable in Lane if your opponent realized it.
