frozen heart vs dagger

It's not a dagger's worth of attack speed, it's 15% of the enemie's total attack speed. Meaning a champion with 1.00 attackspeed would get reduced to .85 attack speed.

Daggers are additive so if you have 1 attack speed base and 6 daggers you get 1 x (1 + (0.15 x 6)) = 1 x (1 + 0.9) = 1.9 attacks per sec

Frozen Heart (and all attack speed reduction) is multiplicative of that total, so the guy with 1.9 attacks per sec would have 1.9 x 0.85 = 1.615 so he lost 0.285 attacks per sec, while each dagger was adding 0.15 attacks per sec. However, Dagger is actually much weaker because no champ has 1.0 base, so it's even more in favor of Frozen Heart. Champs with 0.625 base only get 0.09375 attacks per sec from a dagger.

Oh and on top of that, Frozen Heart is an aura too.

edit: Oh I forgot Dagger is 12% these days, so its weaker than what I have up there. Whatever who cares.
