Can we just get rid of the thing thats holding Vlad back?

Can we get rid of the damage amp on his ult so he won't be played in every professional game ever when he's viable? Isn't that the mechanic thats really holding him back? Then we can buff the rest of his kit to compensate.

Or at least change it so only Vlad's damage is amplified.

If getting rid of that mechanic meant Vlad could be buffed again then why not just get rid of it?

I love vlad and would love to see him get changes he really needs but when he got that passive nerf and damage nerfs he is in a realy bad spot.

In my opinion his ult should have been changed in the MYMU its concept is no longer needed in the way the game has been in the last two years, a delayed pop of damage that makes it where you do a little more damage to them during the duration became a "im about to die so ult just so we both die in the trade." with the update it became "every team fight ult as many as possible so when i soak up all cooldowns i get full hp again".

His passive wasn't nerfed, it was reverted.

He actually got massive buffs if you build him AP. Even before the AP buffs, AP builds healed more, had more MR, did way more damage, and only had ~400 less HP.

He's only in a really bad spot since the Rylai's nerfs.

I was telling Riot that they should remove the team-wide damage-amp from Vlad when they were reworking him because it makes it so he's pick/ban any time he's even slightly usable.

"Nah, we think its pretty important to him."

i think it'd be cool if it was more.. infectious. like a real plague that he can play around

brand pretty much stole that with his passive, though

Personally, I'd rather see him take a bit of a hit to his lane-phase sustain. But honestly, I've never been a fan of sustain on non-mana gated champs. I feel like being resource-free is it's OWN sustain, you know?
