do you play udyr because you win alot or because hes fun

serious question, every now and then i play udyr and he is one of the most boring champions i've ever played, hes the reason why i don't play yorick either because all their abilities are pretty much the same thing with slight alteration, i mean why even bother using tiger when most see phoenix is pretty much the same thing with better overall dps, hes just so generic. i see alot of people say they play udyr because they win, i can't recall a time when someone said they play udyr because hes fun or interesting.

i honestly play him because i have fun mostly with top lane tiger udyr. and i love his lore.

Well, tiger has a better early game, and averages a higher win rate in plat+ games according to champion.gg to i think the better question is why even phoenix? There are some benefits to each. Tiger is focused more on single target damage, while phoenix is focused more on an off tank / wave clear option. I personally play him because of a combination of both. I enjoy the champion to some degree, and I have fun winning. He's not a flashy champ, but its pretty amusing to hang out by red, then stun and delete your opponent while you steal everything and ruin their next 10 minutes of gameplay.

My winrate on jungle is between 30-40%, I definitely play him for fun. Farm heavy champions generally appeal to me, as does being able to walk up to 80% of the characters in the game and kill them for free. He really doesn't have a lot of tradeoffs early, and you can build him a bunch of different ways.
