Since when does Ezreal build a bunch of armor and mana? Blue Ezreal does, but he's not building the items for those stats. He builds them because they synergize with the build. Standard Ezreal builds Trinity and that's it. After that he doesn't build items too differently than everyone else.

Ezreal is supposed to be able to spam it. That's how he wins trades. Other adc's just auto attack and they win.

In lcs every adc have 150mr lategame with mercury+malmortius+rune mr. in ranked some adc have 300mr lategame. btw this game is fucked, adc have more hp than tank at lvl 18. tank get killed in 1.5second, sometimes 2seconds but it's rare.
BestSupportGold1 votesIf you don't just spam your abilities at everything, you will have the mana you need as Ezreal. You have a great chase/gap closing ability paired with attack speed on hit, and good damage output. I don't know what your hitting, but if you run out of mana and get blown up, your doing it wrong.

Rawrful1 votesAre we talking about Iceborn? Iceborn adds a LOT of direct damage combat stats to an Ezreal. All 4 of his abilities scale with AP, an improved Sheen proc is amazing, and CDR scales into damage better on Ezreal than any other champion in the game. Not to mention the non-damage related utility of armor, mana, and a big AoE slow. Heck, you could even argue that the mana is damage because of Muramana, and the AoE slow lets you hit more Qs and deal more damage while remaining safe.
Also, according to http://www.probuilds.net/champions/Ezreal Ezreal doesn't even build Iceborn that often. The Trinity spike is just too strong to pass up.
