I understand why you think it's a good idea right now to force lock ins or boot them

But also punishing players who don't lock in?

Hear me out: when I enter champ select and pick a champ after bans I NEVER LOCK IN For a few reasons

One: instalocking is a bit rude Two: what if somebody just gets back as I lock in and then they can't have a say on who I might want to pick

Three: regarding the above: I utilize all the time I have(which is extended by roughly 1-3 seconds) without locking in (the time it takes fir the game to basically say: hey you didn't lock? Ok well were locking you in now? Ok? Cool!)

Those last few seconds can be very important for last second trades or picks.

Four: I know this is ranked team builder but ranked IS a game mode where in order to have the best win % and chance you must be pretty flexible and have a good plan time.

Five: my personal note on punishing players just because they don't lock in: that's ridiculous to do, and right when you do it there will be plenty of people who get pissed that they have to wait 10-30 minutes and they lost 3-6 lp because they didn't bother reading the update or don't know how it works
