Looks like s9 will be the same

Damage still going to be way too high. So much for all that talk from Rito about fixing damage creep. Apart from the small electrocute nerf and giving us a measly 5 armor/6mr ... Nothing else was done. 5 armor/6mr isn’t going to fix anything. That’s not even half the resistances we used to get ... It’s literally a placebo “fix” as they try their hardest to keep damage as high as possible.

there doesnt mean to be more armor in the game lol. Also the reason the damage is super high is because most of the runes give damage. If this wasnt the case it would be another GRASP (TANK META) and i think that would be really bad. Also the new stat shards are pretty cool just wish it gave more cdr.

League of legends is a fighting game now. Killing your enemy is all that matters. Anything that hinders this purpose doesn't work in Riot's eyes,

No. S9 will be even worse as far as my knowledge of the changes go.

People still complain about dmg being too high? Seriously? The dmg is about the same as in S6 after all the tank item nerfs.

Dark harvest isnt a oneshot killing keystone for junglers no more, opening up more alternatives. Timewarp tonic changes will mean less fighting and less burn dmg from elixirs. Sudden impact nerfs. Electrocute being a worse thunderlords in almost all ways. Cheap shot nerfs. Besides, the preseason was pushed one patch which might mean more rune changing.
