Why should Thresh' chain continually latch-on virtually invuln targets?

Morg shield, Malz passive, why is he allowed, even if the cc itself is blocked, to fly across the nation to you and cc you down anyway? The purpose of the two effects are to avoid cc-initiations (cc entirely) like that...It's like if Blitz' hand still pulls someone in because his hand was still attached. He already gets rewarded with the cd reduction of 3 seconds and the unrelated fact that he can utilize FOTM. Why give him free cheeze chances to lockdown someone who should be temporarily cc-invulnerable? I don't even play Morg but it's stupid as shit.

Morg's shield doesnt even stop the shackles of her own ult lol. Why should it apply to others?

Downvote me all you want, but that's more overloaded extra bullshit like the (old) spellvamp on Lee Sin.

Except its not. Morg's shield doesnt break any other tether in the game either

probably because it's a two-stage skill. under invuln it blocks the cc applied to the hit target and the damage, but because there's a second part to the skill you still see the animation play out, plus there's probably the chance that the enemy might run out of invuln in the middle of it where then the second part of the skill remains relevant.

Morg shield and Malz passive both block cc, NOT abilities. Sivir shield blocks abilities. Nocturne shield blocks abilities. Morgana can shield blitz pull because that is considered a CC. Thresh hook is different. It is also a movement ability along with CC, so while the CC is negated, movement abilities still work with no problems.
