Urgot who is #31 in Plat+ is getting MASSIVE nerfs on the PBE for ZERO reasons

Echoing Flames (Passive) Bonus damage lowered from 40/50/65/80/90/100% AD to 30/40/55/70/80/90% AD

Purge (W) Mana cost changed from 45/50/55/60/65 to 65 at all ranks Shield strength changed from [60/90/120/150/180 (+30% Bonus HP)] to [30/70110/150/190 (+15% Bonus HP)]

WHAT?

So I would see the Passive nerfs IF he was still in the top 10 for Top lane but this W nerf is just flat out STUID.

+20 mana at level 1 when he has shit for mana AND then -50% on his shield at level 1 AND then -50% on the Bonus HP on the shield?

The New Conqueror is good on his but its is NO WHERE that good.

Riot is just crazy.

Urgot needed nerfs. He auto wins too many lanes. Also yes. It’s bullshit yasuo isn’t getting the nerf bat. But rito can’t lose that many 12 year old yasuo one tricks.

this is what happens when you look only at solo queue winrate to judge the power of a champion. urgot is literally the best top laner in the game right now, he does not lose any matchups. hes the lissandra of top lane.
i am more concerned that they still are not touching karthus jungle.

He loses plenty of matchups.

Darius Illaoi Lissandra Ornn Swain Quinn Teemo Vladimir Sion Yorick Yasuo are headwinds at a bare minimum.

the thing that makes him too powerful right now is that when he gets counterpicked he can just go mid lane. and now you get to counterpick their darius/teemo/quinn.

These nerfs seem very heavy handed and over the top. At least urgot has never reached irelia/Yas/vayne/Yi/tryn/Jax levels of toxic to play against, and he has legitimate counterplay. His winrate isn't even over the top tbh

Irelia? No legitimate counterplay? Juke her stun and/or all in her when she has no stacks in lane because she cant do anything to retaliate, so you always win trades that way. If you base your argument on winrate irelia has a 47% winrate which is terrible, but winrates dont mean anything. Urgot doesnt have any counterplay, as a melee champ he can just e or q you whenever you go for cs and then w you. Since hes ranged he will be able to harass from range. His passive damage is stupid and has a non existant cd post level 13. He is tanky, ranged, high damage but admittedly immobile which is made up for by the fact he has cc in all parts of his kit except his passive and w.
