Can we revive marksman diversity/improve damage scaling?

Because it's pretty cancerous atm. Speaking strictly of solo queue, the only champions that seem to offer you any bit of control of the game (not being at the mercy of other players to make the right moves) are a handful of characters like Kaisa Jinx Xayah Lucian Jhin . What happened to Ashe Caitlyn (weird spot atm) Corki Draven Ezreal (9/10 they're garbage and lose trades because they Q'd minion) Kalista KogMaw MissFortune Sivir and Varus? I liked the old season 3 and 4 days where getting nuked at level 2 was a lot rarer and there was more room for counterplay and some actual thought into strategy, and less of a flashy RPG. Champions weren't loaded with extra passives and utility like fat shields, massive attack speed steroids, easy-to-land burst + cc, mobility, and untargetable abilities.

The one thing that made marksmen worth playing has been mostly stripped for no decent reason. Instead of looking at champ base stats, Riot just screwed around with items, inevitably making one other class or group of users broken because of how they abuse it, rather than doing a real case-by-case basis in their number crunching. You know, balance? Honestly unless you're in a really organized team and comp, surviving as an ADC is utter hell. Assuming you do well in lane, there's little guarantee you can translate that success into the rest of the game because of how vulnerable you are. Most of them. Hence the aforementioned list above. All of the newer/focused champions stay relevant yet Riot absolutely dumpsters over half the roster. Unless you play leagues above your opponent in skill level, winning lane is extremely challenging, and in most cases wouldn't nearly be as rewarding vs as if you were playing some busted shit like Xayah or Kaisa.

Marksmen need some real buffs in health/resistances, some more than others, while tuning down more of their damage early and have it translate better mid-late game. Level two shouldn't be a death match for any character, and given how ridiculously diverse everyone else's item pool has gotten, there's no reason to keep marksmen in their weakened state. Again, they don't need damage buffs, they need them scaled more reasonably. On the side note would be great if turret range/minion aggro got buffed as well per level. After the first big damage item their presence is meaningless.

that's a really weird list you got there. Sivir, ashe, draven, MF, and kog are actually pretty good/great right now, lucian's sitting in a dumpster, jhin is pretty mid tier, and corki is practically never played as an adc.

Oh, poor marksmen, for one time they need to work for it and not actually instawin vs any other class cause they hit 6 items. Oh and they need to play safe to hit their spikes OH THE HORROR.

You ever bothered asking how Top/Jg feels and how much control of the game they feel they have when their bot is losing?

Seems most of you don't play ADC for shit. It's a pretty overbearing role compared to what it used to be seasons ago. I don't know about your MMRs but in the mix of mid gold and high plat players I play with, ADCs almost never lead in damage, and that's honestly all that class is supposedly good for at the moment (non-pro play). It requires way too much intrinsic teamwork and pick coordination (aside from your own placement and ability) to reach their potential. It's just not worth the struggle when you can pick a damn mage. One item 3070 oritem 3802 item and you can start spamming high damage spells from like 800+ units.
