Why does Lee Sin's ult ignore Shaco's ult's mini-untargetability?

This shit makes zero sense.

Because he is Lee Sin, the blind monk.

It doesn't though. You just have to ult within the 0.25 second root duration that Lee's ult randomly has, otherwise you won't dodge it. And since Shaco's ult has a cast time, there's no possible way to dodge Lee's kick unless you've predicted exactly when he'll use it.

Season 1 spaghetti code. Same reason why Ezreal can still shift even if he gets hit by hard CC during the fraction of a second of the animation

This is wrong, you still get kicked and take damage, whether you're untargetable while the damage occurs or preemptively ult the root.

Because it's a point and click 0 delay ability, you can't dodge it. Just like ryze's W for example.

If he queues a kick, he can begin kicking you during your invulnerability, while you're not targetable.

usually point and click melee abilities don't have a delay so you can't. but the weird thing lee sin kick has 0.25 second delay. as shown by the R flash there is a delay. so you're saying you still get hit?. technically speaking if you dodge it it wouldn't go on CD and he would kick you again when you come back from the untargetability.
