I'm getting really tired of people saying "games are about 25-30 minutes so the pacing is fine".
There's still an absurd amount of snowballing.
Games are rarely close due to matchmaking and autofill, and ones that are close quickly snowball off of one event, some of which are coinflip (dragon soul).
The last 10 minutes of a game aren't potential comebacks, they're usually just waiting for the inevitable that was foreshadowed in the first 10 minutes of the game.
Most early game champions don't fall off hard enough.
With the insane amount of importance placed on the first 10 minutes, this is a big problem.
Powercurve needs to be adjusted for many champions, even beyond the ones mentioned above. Many "late game" champions are too bad early to really shine. Some just autowin for reaching 2 items if they aren't far behind, even if they just afk farmed at a detriment.
League is just a clusterfuck of balance decisions with no real integrity. The balance team balancing based on u.gg stats, basically, is really fucking lazy and has been a disservice to the game for the past 5 or so years.
