Most of his former counters don't really counter him anymore and his regen makes his lane phase very forgiving. He can keep the power on his E but can his regen or tankiness at least be toned down? The game has already decided to go in the damage direction and I'm ok with that now, but with the Doran's Shield buffs and lack of resource to manage, he's really obnoxious to play against. I'd rather play vs. Darius or Heimerdinger
100%. Even against his worst matchups, he has many POSITIVE deltas. That means he has an EASIER time into his worst matchups(Darius, Urgot, Kayle, etc) than other champions.
Just let me EMPHASIZE how ridiculous that is. Imagine there's 3 different kind of matchups. 1, favorable matchups that makes winning incredibly easy. 2, skill matchups where the fight is largely even. Lastly, 3, unfavorable matchups that are DIFFICULT to win. A champion's WR is composed of all of those. Thus, Garen's positive delta means his unfavorable matchups WOULD be considered to be decent/skill or even GOOD matchups if he were any other champion.
