I have started to notice that Garens E on a single target can does as much, and even more dmg than his ultimate. Garen uses E just on me dealing 657 dmg, i am then at about 30p hp and Garen ults me killing me, his ult did barely did 500 magic dmg. The garen on had black cleaver, and spirit visage. So my main question, is it okay for a champions non ultimate ability that cost no mana to do more dmg than his execute ult????

I know, Garen ults me (im not garen) at 300 hp, which 300 hp was about 1/7 of my max hp. Garen E still did more dmg than his ult, also i was NOT the villain at the time.

get away? he is going to Q you first preventing any flash or dash, while at the same time getting a boost to his own movement speed and removing any slows u put on him... there is no "getting away". unless your a freaking tank with enough hp to survive the entire Q E, his ultimate is just icing on the cake.
Nickssaa1 votesIn many scenarios, the ult could be used as some sort of utility. Even if it doesn't do as much damage as his e, it still gives him bonus gold on villains. Now I'm not saying that garens e should be stronger than his ult, in fact I think this is wrong in this scenerio, but if we take, idk, Necrophos from Dota 2. Even though his ult does missing hp damage, but its not his most powerful ability as he has a great ability to burst people down. NovaDisk1 votesGaren's ult doesn't do that much damage unless they're the villain. It's hardly more than a regular nuke spell.
E commonly outdamages ult, especially if he builds damage.
