What actually goes into matchmaking?

I'm actually curious as of lately; I feel like matchmaking has become more or less flipping a coin when queuing to see who you get as teammates.

Does anyone actually find consistently balanced teams? or does it happen roughly once every 3-4 games? It just feels like your either dominating the other team or being dominated (Goes both ways).

I've gone on 11 game winning streaks from just getting better teammates alone; with barely little to no effort from me at all. Where my skill has 0 equation into actually winning. Just the matchmaking rewarding me ect while punishing the other team. I've also gone on massive losing streaks even when getting S ranked and making plays/warding etc due to multiple team-mates going 0-12 etc.

I've started looking up statistics after matches and noticed a lot of times - one team is completely one sided. You'll have one side with much better statistics over their last twenty games.

Is there any room for improvement? A person who wants to see more consistent games that revolve around skill and not luck.

Weekends seem worse than weekdays, one wonders why.

All I know, is I'm playing support - and I've had;

Top Laners; Game 1: 1-7 Game 2: 5-16

Almost every single game everyone is losing their lane and having four deaths in the first 10 minutes. This seems to have been happening all weekend. I shouldn't have to make myself a premade to have a balanced team; which I might add isn't balanced - because then we have an advantage.

Been playing since 2011 - and honestly feel like moving on to other games just on how bad the matchmaking system feels this season compared to others. It's just all over the place. I know there trying to force players slowly into partys... but it needs a lot of work.

I don't mind losing; really don't - but when you have 5+ games in a row where every lane but yours looses - it begins to tilt you.

no1...

broaden skill difference range.

;D if anyone wants to break matchmaking just search and cancel multiple requests never waiting more than 10s....

if everyone does this then matchmaking will finally be fair, if you can find a game at all.
