If you set up a perfect freeze and you have even a small advantage in lane, you get to deny the enemy laner so much farm and exp. However, now the enemy just roams and gets fed off of our overextending bot lane while I try to push it out.

KoKoboto1 votesFreezing wasn't always the best strategy. In fact you just listed why he could go against you and screw you over. It was definitely more viable back than because objectives couldn't be taken as fast and there was less damage so kills couldn't be taken but still, wasn't the best strategy.
