The Real Reason for Nemesis Draft

Let's be real, Rito just wanted to see which champions people think suck the most so they can now spend their time buffing underplayed / useless champs instead of nerfing ones that matter.

No one ever gives yorick, because yorick is a very strong feast or famine champ. Nemesis draft works in DotA because each champion is balanced against the game as a whole, not their particular lanes meta.

Riot just wants the easy way out. And that means copying everything DotA does that works well.

That being said, nemesis draft is fun. I think it should be re-worked to like... an SP point system. Like each team gets 100 points, at each champion is assigned x/50 points based on their usage in the last 1000 games played. Before you can start, each team must either be at a similar amount of points; Team captain would have "final authority" after all the others have chosen.

Meh, i didn't even bother to play it actually, the "novelty" ends after bans and picks, it's kinda like play on the day of the opposite.

The map was still the same, the champs had nothing new to interact with, it's just the same game just with different champs.

Game modes are needed to add something that usually in a normal game you won't find (Doom bots, U.R.F., One For All ....).

I didn't play Poro king that much either, there was something but it wasn't enough for me.

And OP is right, they made such a "simple" game mode to just record feedback to see which champs are the least wanted\least played;

Which is extremely good in my opinion, it shows that they possibly care to make every champion desirable to play, because in this game there's too many people that pick a champion not because they like them, but because they heard he\she\it's OP.

Nemesis is nothing different.

Why not put in fun game modes for people that arent the 1% of players who go pro? There are dozens of game modes they could copy from other games. Rp purchases would skyrocket

Almost no one gave out Urgot nor Yorick because everyone realized how crazy strong they CAN be

Urgot especially is an absolute monster!

The most common picks were basically support spam
