Im conflicted with Azir's E change.
So for those who've seen the changes on PBE, Azir's E has lost its Knock-up and Sheild.
CONS
- He no longer has an Ult-Free defense against those who can gap close
- Without a shield, getting in to use his Ult is dangerous
Then there is the POTENTIAL changes that might come with it, that could be pro. I have yet to get on PBE to try it
- Without a Knock-Up or shield, his Dash may push him through enemies, instead of getting interrupted by them.
- That may allow him to escape easier, and removes the "Body Block" counterplay for ganking
- Pulling him through an enemy would allow for an easier, but still more dangerous, positon to ult an enemy.
Even with the POTENTIAL (I cant stretch that enough) pro's, I don't think that there is a lot of reward for risking yourself to get near an enemy. I personally don't like it.
In other news, I'm a slight fan of the W- ARISE change. The CDR = Attack speed passive tunneled Azir into a normal build route of Athenes/Morelleocon. With the changes with ROA, and Seraphs, Azir can now more build more without feeling like you lost out on a passive.
