I feel like he can dominate every single top lane match up early game , except maybe vs renekton, then transcends into a soilid midgame, and is still unkillable tank lategame that can potentially 1 vs 5 if ignored, unless you have a fed vayne to kill him fast enough.

The Sword Saint2 votesYou could play someone like gangplank who can just farm safely and scale without darius really being able to do anything about it.
Personally I play Riven so I just make smart trades with him and then go all in if he makes a mistake trying to harass while I'm farming and he's too low.

jinxedchef1 votesThe problem with all these "counters" people are throwing out is that at some point in the game you will have a team fight. At that point Darius will just press R and collect kills and he is right back into the game.
The Sword Saint2 votesProper positioning and kiting of a non fed darius will make him irrelevant, the last thing a non fed Darius wants to do against a skilled team is group.
Declareas1 votesAnother previously unmentioned counter is Jayce. I play both Jayce and Darius, and I've been on both sides of the matchup multiple times. It's not fun for the Darius, at all. Jayce can poke him freely, and if he is ever pulled he can switch to hammer and knock Darius away. Against Darius, generally speaking you want to pick champs that can either kite him into oblivion, Jayce, Taliyah, or Gnar for example, or champs that can do a quick trade and then escape.
Darius excels at extended fights, so doing a quick combo on him and backing off usually goes in your favor. Fiora can hit a vital on him and quickly back off. If he tries to pull, she can Riposte it and stun him. She can also Riposte his ultimate to negate all of that damage. What you don't want to pick into Darius is a straight up tank or an immobile squishy, as he will tear both of those apart. He gets free armor pen with his E, virtually always builds a Black Cleaver, and his ultimate does true damage; not even Rammus can stand up to Darius in a 1v1, since Darius will just sustain through the fight till Rammus goes down. On the other hand, someone like Teemo is vulnerable to getting pulled in and destroyed, since he has no reliable escape other than a small movement speed increase. Basically, pick someone you are comfortable playing as, who can kite easily and or has reliable engage and disengage.
Also, and this goes without saying, do NOT allow Darius to stack his bleed on you, because if he reaches 5 stacks, he's virtually 
-teed to come out on top.
