The Boards don't care about win rates

And before everyone jumps on me telling me the Boards are not a hive mind, yes, I know that, they are a multitude of smaller hive minds, we have the Zed mains front and center calling their S+ champ weak, the ADC mains in the left corner plotting how to kill the Mage mains, the Yasuo mains are the free food banquet...

Why do I say that they don't care about win rates?

Simple, let's use the best 3 examples, Riven, Kittyrina and Zed-y-poo.

We had 2 threads just today crying Kat and Riven are OP and that their win rates show it, all good and dandy, I do agree both are on the stronger side, but when someone complains about Zed, they get called "trash players", told that "Zed is weak" and all the yada yada, but, there's a problem in their math.

Here are Riven's, Zed's and Kat's win rates, pick rates and ban rates in Iron, Silver, Diamond and Challenger, (that order for the rates), I'll bold the highest of each win/pick/ban rates.

Iron:

• Riven - 45.69%, 5.3%, 2%
• Kat - 46.24%, 8%, 6.1%
• Zed - 50.98%, 15%, 42.8%

Silver:

• Riven - 47.99%, 6.8%, 2.9%
• Kat - 49.98%. 9.6%, 7.7%
• Zed - 50.15%, 14.5%, 51.4%

Diamond:

• Riven - 52.41%, 11.7%, 12.9%
• Kat - 52.85%, 8.6%, 7.8%
• Zed - 51.71%, 11.7%, 43.8%

Challenger:

• Riven - 54.95%, 10.3%, 19.4%
• Kat - 52.92%, 4.7%, 6.5%
• Zed - 58.5%, 10.9%, 13.4%

What are all those stats supposed to show?

That the boards chose who they call "OP" or "weak" based on preferences, not actual informations. Zed heavily outclasses both in almost every rank (I'm going to eat, so if you want the whole stat board for the 3 champs, I could add it later if enough people want, but right now, short on time), he has higher win rate, pick rate and even ban rate in almost everywhere, yet, Zed's called "weak" and the other 2 who are weaker than him are called OP. Katarina was just called "overpowered, not just a low elo stomper" in her own thread today, but, she's not a low elo stomper, Zed is, and compared to him, she's balanced.

So how to properly make a thread when in the end, no matter the reasoning, the proof, the whatever you bring, is dismissed simply based on "personal believes".

Zed is called weak, and since he is stronger than both Kat and Riven, they are weak, that's what I get from the boards. Or, Zed may be actually be OP himself, but hey, too many Zed mains to know for sure, I mean, just last week we had the Zed main claiming he's higher Ranked challenger than Dopa and that Zed is weak, and the buffs he needs are a 3s stun at level 2, 80% CD refunded if he puts his W next to you, and he also claimed that "not even those buffs would make Zed remotely playable, they would just put him in a less shitty place than he's now", so.....can't really much?

At least, just let's all come to a conclusion what stats show someone is strong, and which one's don't, because it's a clusterfuck of "those stats matter" vs "those stats don't matter, these ones matter" vs "both of you dumb, none of those stats matter, these ones matter" (read all 3 in drunken russian voices)
