Since the last nerfs, Gangplank's early game has been too rough for me. His mana costs are super massive, and due to this and the fact that his Q behaves like a basic attack, I had the idea of building him with a blue build similar to that used on Ezreal. I've tested Gangplank with those items: 
and had good results as of now. Is that build worth, though?
Chicken4dinner1 votesIf you are going for that you would want essence reaver instead of BT, maybe cut out LS to get ghostblade to complement the crit on trinity. Also I would get reaver much earlier.
Muramana is ok but not great, maybe think about swapping for a frozen hammer late for chase and dps (plus that snazzy 700 hp! Goes well with your frozen heart which I would get last tbh)

i would say you could try essence reaver next patch since you're gonna be building a fairly high amount of crit though
