I'm probably gonna get downvoted anyway because Renek has no playerbase at all, would love to see them nerf Ahri's core item because someone else abuses it

None at all, they're both late game champs who don't really care when they get their tiamat as much as Renekton does who's a ticking time bomb and needs it ASAP

all it does is screw over champions like shaco that need tiamat early to have even halfway decent jg clear, not being able to get it first back unless you over stay is a giant nerf to a lot of mainly jgers

I understand that it's core to the mechanics of Renekton and several other champions as well (Tiamat-cancels and whatnot), but I think this is actually a healthy direction to take the game. Melee champions without solid waveclear should be pushed backwards a bit in acquiring a purchasable waveclear ability/passive.

Renekton clearly wasn't the target of the nerf and he could probably afford to get some help right now so hopefully we see something on that soon, but other champions with little to no waveclear first-backing a Tiamat and doing having free wave control all of a sudden is something that has been an issue for a long time now.

An entire class of single-target-based champions has been abusing this item's relatively low cost for years. Time to tune them back a little bit. It may indirectly buff Renekton actually, since you will have wave control over your kit compared to Jax/Irelia/Trundle/Kled et cetera that also tend to rush Tiamat.

He already wasn't doing too hot, and that's not just "4 minions" it's a refillable potion I could be getting, and for NO reason either. If Renek was strong I'd be perfectly fine with it, but he is really struggling atm

That means if you play 100 games. You will lose 3 more games then you win. Thats still a mmr increase unless your already plateaued.

47-53% is usually considered good. Maybe he needs some love taps but thats it.

Edit: hey... his winrate is at 48.9 thats not bad at all.

I was expecting a cost around 2200 with 10 more ad. That would nerf nearly all fighters which would make the impossible to make happy marksman target mages instead.
