I heard something about testing it on smaller servers, but I don't remember when we're getting them on the main ones. Anyone heard?

There is no release date for any content in the game as things change. It won't happen though until the new client is stable and working fairly decently for all players (plus has the rest of the other features enabled)

You are probably right, the new client seems to be coming along quite slowly though, so if what you're guessing is to be true... I would guess it would be ready to make it's debut around mid next season, but they'll probably hold it off until next pre-season if solo-Q is anything to go by.

Fuck 10 bans. Yasuo mains will never get to play him again if that happens. 10 bans is too drastic a step.

Well let's see just how drastic 10 bans really is. With camille we have just reached 134 champions in the league. 10 bans is less than 7.5% of the entire champion pool. Does that sound like a lot? Well let's just take into account the other 92.5% that gets through the banning phase.

As it is why complain about Yasuo? He's only at a 13% ban rate, while kat, kha, jayce, vayne, ivern, hec, ryze, lee, syndra, rengar and lb are all ahead of him from 18-71% ban rate respectively. Let's say hypothetically after seeing the numbers, his ban rate may go up 10% due to player preference and opportunity. It's clear that he's not everyone's first choice since he's only the 12th top banned atm. He might go up a solid 8-10% putting him at 21-23% which isn't even as high a Ivern or Jayce. just relax and take a deep breath.

Maybe in Plat but in Silver, Yasuo is banned quite a lot, like practically permabanned. I mean as much as we might all hate facing Yasuo, we shouldn't punish the people who enjoy him and want to play him. I'm telling you man, if 10 bans goes through, he will never be seen in Bronze and Silver again.

OR, and this is a big or, the addition of 4 bans will encourage riot to put a bit more detail into their champions. If yasuo for instance is a near perma-ban in any rank they'll have to modify him. In my humble opinion Yasuo simply has too many strengths with far too few weaknesses. Thus riot would actually have to tinker with him until we found a safer and less erratic spasm kit. The most interesting bit of information I found is that lee sin is at 35%~ ban rate. This could actually bench Lee sin, which riot would be unable to stand. Imagine a world where riot tries to take toxic champions down a notch out of consideration for game balance and not back down out of fear from a community backlash. I would at the very least like to see how it plays out in the PBE and smaller regions. If what you expect actually happens, then we'll have to figure that out when we come to it.
