stat check has nothing to do with items it is based on the kit, most champions have items that give them spikes meaning every champion will have to be a stat check going by your idea of what a stat check is.

The term stat check should just die and only exist for Trynd primarily (due to his RNG crit and kit behavior). I'd honestly would create a new term called power checking for a situation such as that.

I think the point of these nerfs is that PRE NERF she is an automatic stat check starting at lvl 11 REGARDLESS of items. And don't complain about her if she becomes item reliant to dish out dps as a stat check unless you want to complain about the entire adc class for that exact reason
