Why do I lose 15 LP for a dodge?

so that you cant lolking.net your entire team in champ select and dodge because you don't like their recent matches.

Its unfortunate that it hurts people trying to prevent trolls, but its there for a reason.

Also, because the tooltip you probably ignored when you tried to dodge says you do.

Yes, but its bad for gameplay.

for every time someone is trying to avoid a troll, there at least 5 people going "omg, im s5/g5, I don't want to play with this b1/s1 trash" or "I dont like your pick, no one in the pros plays xxxxchamp" or "i dont want to support" just based on our community.

Id rather see them implement a vote to kick than take away dodging penalties.

i dont dodge because I think Im going to lose, I dodge when the enemy is loaded with champions that you can do nothing against and that pisses me off Also I havent lolking'd anyone in my champ select lobby in around a year prob

The second dodge within 24 hrs= 15 LP and 30 mins penalty.
