They're supposed to be the "get in, oneshot, then get out" class.
Giving them all these delays just ruins their whole theme and concept.
Oh its okay though because for some reason some assassins didnt get this treatment and can still oneshot you COUGH duskblade COUGH

Edge of Daybreak1 votesIt's almost like having a game where mostly everything is instant then trying to make one class not instant is a dumb idea so to bandaid the class riot gave them instant burst via an insanely strong item they are all forced to build just to function. Meanwhile because almost everyone else is still instant that item breaks the hell out of them.
But in a way this is what the community asked for. They wanted assassin nerfs and they got them. If riot could make assassin kits good without having to listen to torrents of whining they could just do that. However our community isn't even close to allowing that to happen so
