It's still super boring.

You either get ahead early and get to spend 20 min watching your enemy hide under the tower or other way around. The jungler rarely can risk coming top and giving away a free dragon, so you are even more alone this season.

The fact that you absolutely need TP top lane because nothing is going to be happening up there and you will need to get somewhere else quick illustrates its boredom.

I wouldn't mind if somehow Riot made a topside map objective (Baron doesnt count, by the time baron is even a possibility, laning has looooooooong ended), maybe made topside turrets worth more gold? (of course that might just cause the meta to switch top for bottom). IDK, but it would be nice to send a little more action to the top side of the map.

TP meta introduced the wet noodle tanks top lane. Doesn't mean that every top lane should take TP. If you want to go aggro, take ignite on a more offensive champ. It will seriously freak out a lot of "top lanes" because they expect top lane to be a passive farming lane.

I haven't left the old seasonal top lane thinking style because of this.

If I'm playing a carry type top lane, then I don't take TP. On tank I sometimes take tp. Top lane isn't that boring to me.

Nah, take TP to get to lane and never lose farm. Use it to split push when ever you want. And TP ganks, it's just that good, especially on a carry top laner.

I try to Play Tryndamere with Ignite whenever I'm top with him. The kill potential is twice as good with ignite. Lane is too easy if enemy top laner takes flash tp. If I shut him down hard enough then top is gone for them and if he ganks elsewhere he might be too weak at the moment. TP is good though, no doubt.

I usually take ignite top lane unless its going to be a wet noodle fight between 2 tanks. I would rather have more kill potential and be able to snowball the lane rather than have TP and farm for 20 minutes and hope my team does well.
