Kleptomancy is too powerful in some scenarios

Last game, I was playing Nasus vs Gangplank and I killed him (with assist of my jungler) at 8th minute. A 10th minute, when I hovered his kleptomancy, he had ~600g acquired alongside 15 consumables, in fact he was 1000g ahead overall (shown in the link above). I can't even imagine how much the gold difference would be if my jungler didn't show up top, the way his didn't. I just don't think it's fair to use point-and-click 625 ranged ability every 5 seconds and acquire gold worth at least 2 kills (most likely even more) without any counterplay possible, especially when playing immobile champions like most Juggernauts are.

That being said, I would suggest Kleptomancy to have a much longer CD (currently only 2 seconds) so maybe 10 would be fine. This way Gangplank would be able to proc it with his every 2nd Q, rather than always (if Kleptomancy otherwise is to remain the same version at all).

P.S. My score at the end of the game was 9/2/12 while Gangplank 's was 0/8/9 and despite that he still had higher gold lead throughout the whole game till the very end.

maybe its time for klepto to be hard coded to only work on real auto attacks, and not the pseudo aa bullshit.

Did he have a support item as well? Bandit can net you even more gold than kleptomancy.

The thing about Kleptomancy is that he needs to be in range to make any use of it. You should just be sitting underneath your tower so he doesn't get to make use of his keystone. As a Nasus, you can fight him at pretty much any point after level 8 or so. So sit under your tower for 15 minutes, and only call your jungler up if he manages to freeze the wave close to his turret, denying you experience. Sure, it'll take longer for you to get the Nasus train rolling, but it effectively denies him the entire keystone. And let's be honest, by 15 minutes you'll probably only have around 150-200 stacks (if you farm well) under normal circumstances, so you won't be put impossibly far behind.

There are ways around it. The times I have faced it as illaoi or diana have been fine. The fact that your nasus and it is gonna be a farm simulator for the next 20 minutes just means that he will gain more gold than you cause of his passive+item 3303 + klepto. All he is doing is doing the same thing as he would but he gets to it somewhat faster. You still have an entire abilities worth of change compared to him because klepto doesnt add anything besides gold which becomes irrelevant late game where you should be looking to get too as nasus.
