Take away the tint from the screen if Akali is revealed when she's in her shroud

Cool suggestion. I have a feeling that it might be somewhat distracting if her screen was constantly going in and out of tint, but maybe that's not something that would actually be an issue.

That threw me off immensely when I first played Teemo. If people think Akali has problems, Teemo's screen tints whenever you hold still for any length of time.

It's probably the kind of change you might want to just put on the pbe and then take off before the patch goes out to see what people think about it. It would be hard to say if the tint and untint would be a big deal for people.

This is mainly useful to know when people have put down say a pink or used an upgraded red trinket, more so than the brief reveals when you attack.

Considering Akali goes in and out of stealth constantly already her screen will be going in and out of tint as is and it has never been distracting to me so I doubt a change like this would be very distracting at all. :p

this is the reason I believe a lot of the changes need to avoid happening...there are hidden benefits already to some champs. (Kat knows you are in the bush or invis near her cause of her ult suddenly lighting up). Akali shouldn't auto know that a pink is in a nearby bush. Ofc enemies will still know Akali is near because they can see the shroud, so lets avoid adding hidden power to the champ for no reason.4

Oracle requires a champ to be near her, and they get the little eye over their head. If she is in turret range she already knows she is revealed...as do other champs because duh that's what turrets do. Say in lane you put a pink in one of the side bushes. Akali could just shroud near the bush while staying in lane and figure out if there is a pink in it. Rather than actually having to facecheck the bush. I use pinks like that to setup ganks, that would create a hidden advantage for Akali to avoid them a little easier or have her jungler come and clear it with that knowledge.

That means she would use her only defensive spell to spot a ward that's on an 18 second cooldown. That's like saying it's bs that Ori can use her orb to facecheck brushes

No reason to add hidden power like that on any champ, especially when its something as silly as this.

No reason to add hidden power like that on any champ, especially when its something as silly as this.

Same thing can be said about Orianna. Considering this is on a champion that is already one of the weakest in the game this change won't completely make her broken and it's more of a QoL change than a straight up buff

with Ori it is intended and not "hidden" power, one of her biggest perks for players is that her ball can be used to scout bushes. If Akali got this it would be more akin to a Katarina being able to find teemo because her ulti icon lights up. Straight up adding things like that are one of the big things I would hope riot avoids doing as it would set a precedent. Would they add the same thing to evelynn? That would be an incredible buff to her as she would know whether she was spotted by a pink on the way to a gank, and could search for it even if it was cleverly placed for catching her pathing.

Eve's passive and Akali's W are nowhere near similar other than both providing stealth. Comparing the two is like oranges and apples

I personally don't like mechanics of "Let you know if you're seen". If there's a pink ward in a bush, and you go invisible next to the bush, you shouldn't immediately learn that there's a pink ward that can see you. If it would dynamically adjust to figure out whether or not you can see the source of being revealed, and thus not provide additional information, then I could support this maybe, though I still consider "noticing that there's a pink ward in plain sight" to be something that players should be expected to do rather than making some special indicator for it.

If it just happened for when she reveals herself then that would be fine, just something so you could tell when you're invisible again without closely watching your character's model become more transparent in the middle of everything else that might be going on.

Only if its known by Akali that she's revealed. So if a pink ward is on the other side of a wall(that she can't see) but she uses it and is revealed, she doesn't know she's revealed. But if she can see the pink ward, then the tint will go away.
