Can we all just agree at some point that riot has a bias which doesn't favor mages? It might not be against mages, or for a particular archetype, but the result is that mages almost always end up getting constant nerfs where others are getting buffs.

Look just at the 3 big updates. Marksmen, buffed almost every one of them, put more emphesis on the worst possible stat (Crit).

Assassin update, more mobility for most of them, hardly touched their burst damage in most cases, and stealth... stealth fucking everywhere.

As with the mage update... removed spell vamp, nerfed mana pools, and lowered average build AP...

oh wait your high high elo. and here I thought you were some silver scrub like me since you play lux support. no one in low elo complains about lux support sucking balls, mostly just high. if it's low you get all ap no sightstone or anything support.

Hmm. I can't do that, and I've tried. I rely on wards a lot. I think people complain because they don't really know how to play around her as a support. They just assume you either one shot everything as mid or afk as support, which isn't true at all

Assassins have been worthless and totally outclassed by mages since around mid-end of season 6 and still are but.. ok lel

Mages and ADCs are Riot's favorite classes lol. The last time Assassins were strong competitively was Season 3. Since then only a few of them come out as pocket picks from time to time and the rest of the time it's all mages. The Mage Update was a buff for every single mage involved and made some of the mages completely overpowered. If you look at the Assassin update you can see that it was just a widespread nerf for every single Assassin aside from Rengar and Khazix.

Riot has a mega hard on for nerfing Assassins. If you've been playing this game for a a couple seasons you would know that.

no, riot just has a methodology that does not always favor every champion type. It so happens that buffing anything is a nerf to mages, buffing mages is also a nerf to mages.

when mages get strong they are able to push everyone out just like fighters can

Which is why it seems so weird that fighters aren't kicked around by nearly as much as mages.

Mages aren't anti-assassin, they aren't anti-tank, they're not anti-ADC... they are basically just there to deal moderate AOE damage, which will be healed by everyone (except for the enemy mages) when the next minion wave comes through.

Where AD has now become equally, or more, abundant than AP... which is just absurd considering how fewer multipliers AP has and how less restrictive AD is when it comes to damage patterns, and how much more often AD is not given some type of limiting resource like mana.

They literally just trashed every single assassin except Kha'Zix and Rengar into complete garbage because those two favorite classes of theirs that they pander to 24/7 were crying and whining about them instead of learning to play.
