just curious. when youre taking damage, the item grants you mana. when youre spending mana, the item heals you.
sorakas heal both damages her and costs mana. does this mean it will effectively reduce the mana/health cost of her heal?
also, the new 
should be really strong on her. anyone tried it yet on the pbe?

Sightless662 votesThe new Athene's is mediocre on Soraka. The primary thing gating it is how much damage you deal. It's very good on someone like Lulu or Karma, who does good damage and has some shielding. It's much weaker on someone like Soraka who doesn't do enough damage to get a lot of stacks.
The extra regen when at low health could be kind of nice, but her base HP regen is the worst in the game so she's really not getting much from it, and mana sustain isn't a particularly noticeable problem for her. I think Athene's will be situational at best on her.
