Why isnt there a report option for scripting

It makes no sense to have this,if every other competitive game has a report option for cheating,why doesnt league?

The main reason is scripting is far easier to catch via an automated system than it is by reports.

People can perform frame-perfect combos. It's a major skill involved in essentially every fighting game on the market, from Street Fighter to Tekken, Super Smash to Dead or Alive, Soul Calibur to Mortal Combat.

It's essentially impossible to tell if someone is cheating or simply skilled when it comes to reporting frame-perfect combos. And with only 4 abilities to keep track of in LoL rather than the 20+ inputs with different directions that can result in over 100 combos - you really do not need amazing skills to perform combos in LoL. With 30+ games on a given champion, a players combos should essentially be indistinguishable from a scirpting program.

The vast majority of the time a "scripting" offense is filed would likely be inaccurate and just a sour player trying to fish for a reason they lost.

Scripting is also something that wouldn't be a huge feat to track with the game's own scripts either, and if Riot doesn't have such tracking mechanics in place, banning someone that spent the time and effort to perfect their skills at a skill-based game would just be really tragic.
