Veigar Is Not OP

If you truthfully think Veigar is op,then sit down and let me tell you how I became the prince of bel-air.

No but seriously,there is only one ability in his kit that is obligatory to take,which is his ultimate.Every other part of his tool kit is subject to counter-play.You can dodge his Q,you can dodge his W,you can dodge his E,and,he has sub par autos.Is he a strong setup body?Yep,his stun makes great set ups,even better when it was instant,but you can actually dodge an even godly placed stun with well thought out decision making.Veigar,doesnt have an identity.

Is he a:

1.Control mage(stun,low mobility,set up time required for combo,like lux)

2.A poke mage(Q is very consistent poke/fast projectile etc.stun can be used for disengage)

3.A burst mage(veigar ultimate can delete squishies,especially AP ones)

4.Or a late game scaling mage(Q allows for very decent to modest AP by late game,reaching past 200 easily in an average game)

Veigars kit is so strewn between many different concepts that his identity makes him appear OP and overloaded because he can do a lot,but in the end he is weak(er) than his previous iteration.Veigar is "Jack of all trades, master of none".

Actually, his R has counter-play in that it takes some time to travel and you can Windwall/Zhonya/Ekko ult/Braum wall it.

Outside that, GG, take it like a man.

EDIT: Also I generally disagree, Veigar is a burst mage. He's not overloaded at all; putting him on the same level as Thresh and Yasuo feels somehow very wrong. Also, 200 AP isn't "modest".

If the counterplay to zed ulting you is to QSS or Zhonya, then the counterplay to Veigar is to QSS, or Zhonya.

Either they are both op or neither is op.

Saying hes jack of all trades master of none is a blatant lie when hes the only champ who gets scaling ap to such a brutal extent, thresh the only other champ who can get ap like that doesnt even get that MUCH... hes the master of mage-hunting, in that he even counters other mage HUNTERS THEMSELVES! (Like kassadin)

I am laughing at these OP threads. He has ZERO escapes. He is so easy to abuse early game if you are good.
