There are players who play 20 different champions in ranked that won't be climbing

I have a habit of looking of looking at my match history after every ranked game, and figured out why people aren't climbing. You're playing 20 different champions and 5 different roles!

First of all, you aren't Faker, this guy can play any champion to a diamond skill level in a few games than a person could play in several hundred.

Second, even if you could play every champion to a proficient level, it's not enough to guarantee you'll have consistent wins. You can win 10 games with that one champion one day and lose 10 games the next. I don't want to hear people complain how they aren't able to climb until they

a.) Find a Main, or play 3 or less champions each game b.) Played their main(s) for more than 200 games

My match history has faces, faces of Vladimir. No matter how far you scroll down, you will see him. While i do not know his overall win rate, I can estimate that I can win 4/5 games with him because I have played him so many times.

P.S Overall win rate is low because I took a 2 month break from ranked.

P.S.S To be completely honest, you'll start seeing Annie if you scroll all the way down.

However, it's good to have at least 2+ champions you can use per role. It's never good to have a limited champion pool when playing ranked because you never know when you'll get auto-filled and can't change rolels.

You should definitely have a fallback champion if you can't dodge or change roles. This should be a second main that's relatively simple and shouldn't be too difficult to play: Annie, Yi, Tryndamere.

As I said, I stopped playing ranked for 2 months, 4/5 would include normal games.

I main Lucian but for some reason in this game I can't seem to play one champion for more than 5 games straight. I have 0 idea why

You have to force yourself to, I used to think i was going to go insane after I played Vladimir for the 100th time but I kept going. Eventually, it got better, now every game is just as enjoyable.

It depends a lot on the role as well. It's very easy to play the same jungler 20 games in a row but snaplocking MF every game is going to end up with you having a bad time, unless you are a lot higher skilled than the other players in the game. There are certain roles where champion diversity is a lot less detrimental than others. Course I also filled my way to gold on a few seasons, mostly because I'm a jng/sup main so "fill" is basically just asking to support in lower elos lol.

I play a lot of champions and different roles all the time... I am having no issue in climbing out of Bronze.
