Boards players: "Waaah, my champ isn't broken so they need buffs!"

Stop thinking your supposed "main" has to be as overloaded as whatever champs are considered strong at the moment so you can more easily compete.

Your main is not weak just because they don't get a lot of attention.

My main, Vladimir, has an average 46% win rate (mine is 70%+ at any given time) and I'm not complaining. Only thing I want is the HP and MS nerfs to get reverted if Rylai's nerfs hits him hard.

I wish Riot wouldn't do stupid shit and completely ruin a champion in the first place by listening to people who didn't even play or want to learn how to play them. And then completely try to re-balance around that, instead of just reverting the stupid changes. Sure, """they""" might be """balanced""" now, but it's not them anymore.

How is it not Taliyah anymore?

She does the same thing, although the method to go about it is a little different. The difference isn't even noticeable after working with it outside of a complete lack of lock-out on her E, which is positive.

Mechanical differences in how you execute it doesn't change a champion considering the outcome is the same.

Having her 1 shot if she landed W was not healthy, especially with how over-loaded her Q already was. E would have gotten nerfed later whether the W change went through or not.

If she deserved nerfs after the W change, she would have deserved them before the change as well. Riot's pre-emptive nerf would have occured either way.

Um. She was absolutely perfect pre-6.14.

And then Riot listened to dumbasses and made it braindead easy to play her because people didn't like having to learn how to use her W or learn how to actually land E-W on someone who wasn't fucking stupid and would judy try to move out of the way. And then also tried to make her a generalist by adding tons of unnecessary shit which made her needlessly more versatile.

So as a result, they had to gut the shit out of her damage and then try to re-balance around that.

Her playstyle itself as well as her identity got absolutely trashed.

She never ever one-shot pre6.14.

No actually, she wasn't absolutely perfect. If she would have sat in that state for another few months, she would have become pick/ban due to ending up in the LCS anyway, and gotten gutted either way.

Her design is a balance nightmare, tbh.

Zone control mage with pick potential, DPS, burst, waveclear, roaming capability and then even more roaming and pick potential? Taliyah doubles down on just about everything. Damage and more damage, roaming and more roaming, pick potential and more pick potential. Zone control, zone control, zone control, zone control.

Yeah no. She would have eaten significant nerfs somewhere down the line, especially with how overloaded her Q damage is, even now.

Lemme guess, you don't have a way to disprove this sick truth I'm dropping on you.

Uh no. She was absolutely perfect. And no, she wouldn't have.

Not even in the slightest. It was perfectly fine until 6.14 onwards.

She was ONLY a zone control/pressure mage with almost no pick potential against non-stupid players, no DPS, very situational burst that took a ton of skill and practice to even achieve for a burst that didn't even do more than half-health and costed a shitton of mana in early, couldn't waveclear for shit without using up her only meaningful damage ability combo, and couldn't risk roaming without taking heavy tower damage. All that retarded shit came 6.14 onwards.

Her Q damage was perfectly fine pre-6.14. But whatever you need to tell yourself.

Nah, I just find it incredibly hilarious how hopelessly ignorant you are, but still try to keep up a façade of intelligence. Do everyone a favor and just listen instead of blabbering if you don't understand what you're rambling on about. :)

Well, Morde could use some love if they nerf Rylais too :P

Morde needs a whole lot of attention, not just a nerf revert, doesn't he?

Also, think I should actually try to climbing to my potential this season, rather than just hitting gold for the skin? My win-rate and S+ frequency has been insanely high since post-rework Vlad was changed to be more AP focused, less HP focused, despite his winrate/playrate being significantly worse than even pre-rework.

Leads me to believe I've learned a thing or two, or maybe I'm just being cocky. lol

I'd rather Riot leave the champions I like alone to be honest. Buffing just means more people playing them and potentially overnerfs in the future.

Agreed.
