Holy $$$$ they actually did it. Now if only we could have a "damage dealt to towers" stat my life would be complete.

Terrible idea. I hope Riot reconsiders. No good come from this, especially with how worthless grades are anyway (doesn't even factor opponent ranks). All this does is encourage more elitism, KDA whoring etc.

Just because there are assholes out there doesn't mean Riot shouldn't give the info to players. I love tracking my stats, seeing how I improve, and seeing how many champions I can get S rankings on.

That doesn't track improvement. The grades are pretty arbitrary. I can get S on nearly any champion I'm good at in Bronze but it's meaningless because again, I'm in Bronze. If I play in high Plat, I will probably rarely get an S. You're falling into exactly the trap I predicted... people actually thinking the grades have any usefulness.

I don't track the grades as a sign of improvement, I just like seeing how many S's I can get on champions. I track meaningful statistics like CS/min, deaths/min, gold/min, damage to champions per minute, etc.
