Both of these champions were assasins, with the only difference being Leblanc can delete from long range and has 2 huge escapes, while morde could only delete from short range. Explanation on further nerfs?

Because he is MOST CERTAINLY not a Fighter champion. He's a mage first, I'd say assassin second, and maybe fighter at a very distant third.
While I'll never look a gift horse in the mouth with Morde buffs, Riot needs to decide what they want to do with Morde and go for it, instead of pussyfooting around what they want him to do.
If he's a fighter, he needs damage nerfs and survivability buffs. If he's a mage assassin he needs CC or escape.
Jamaree1 votesHe isn't an assassin though, he has no CC, no mobility, only decent amount of burst, he can be a short range burst mage, he can be a balls deep fighter, he can't play assassin.

Her W requires her to put herself in melee range and if she is fed enough to kill u with just QR then thats not really a balance issue rather then a feeding issue. Mordekaiser isnt an assassin by any means whatsoever. Assassins generaly rely on mobility.Not shields
