Trundle.
I appreciate riot's buffs on trundle but i believe the problem is in his mana consumptions.I personaly do not even consider taking doran's shield as a first item when i play top.

Elkington VI1 votesI still take Doran's Shield, but yeah the mana issues are real, and pretty much stay that way unless you purchase a mana item. Pretty much no choice but to play passive early on (and pick your trades well, no room for mistakes). Fortunately, there are quite a few HP items that help with mana management now, just can't afford to prioritize them over Tiamat/Bami's Cinder.
