It placed people too high after pre-season rolled around, so they addressed it.

Riot doesn't want people getting placed higher than they should since your solo starting position will be based off of pre-season performance.

If you climbed there once, you should be able to do it again easily. If you can't, you should just admit to yourself that you don't belong there anyway.
