You definitely didn't just shoehorn him bot or anything noooooooo. There's no possible way he could actually be a mid lane champ you shoved bot even though he has two %hp passives, stun, aoe, and poke or anything. Nahhhh, i love how his w is nearly undodgeable because of how fast it comes out and how just at level 3 he'll win the lane automatically. My favorite part about brand is that after he gets one item he'll 100-0 you the instant he sees you. It's so cool how you refuse to nerf him too.

When I see my support hover Brand I ban it out, because no bottom lane deserves to be subject to a Branding. Wouldn't wish it on my worst match-up.

You're laying the sarcasm on a little thick. Makes it hard to read.

Is the Brand hate mostly a high elo thing? Most of the brands I play against in low elo are completely incompetent and are easily killed.

Bot lane hates everything that isnt an ultimate-only-CC enchanter of some kind. "Support" can be anything as long they have a little CC and buy a ward item; Brand, Annie, and other such mages work bot lane because they have high base damage and lockdown for their marksman or to secure a kill.

You can play Brand as a proper support (and I only ever do so for the sake of countering the enemy support ~~screw you Zyra~~) but most people don't actually pick him to support.

They just play him as a "support" to take advantage of botlane having two people for his ult to bounce off of. He can't do a whole lot against a good dive, though.
