May Sound Troll But Why Isn't Teemo Used as a Support?

Is he too item dependent to be used there or what? I feel like the innate vision control and Blind on his Q would be fairly valuable there, especially since some non-Heal/Shield supports are picked there for the same or less.

Very week verses MissFortune Jhin Ezreal Corki

Easily countered by Morgana Blitzcrank Galio(On the off chance someone uses him as support)

Sona is in the middle.. Why? shes a poke mage?

Well if you hide in the bush her Q can't detect you. Wait till she blows that and you got free poke on her and believe me you do ALOT of damage to her..

But yea.. teemo isn't that great of a support.. it's fun.. but not good.

yeah like im gonna let you hide in a bush as sona, you little teemo twat. The bushes are mine, and you can have a Q in the face if you think otherwise...

...i mean ofcourse he can win. but i don't think it's gonna be that easy against a sona that's actually prepared to deal with "teemo invis bush cheese".

Yea, a good sona can put a teemo in his place.

Especially one that comes back with a item 2043

Yea I played teemo a lot you got me, but I've actually been stepping away from him because im bored of him now..

I'm kind of in that rut where... Idk who or what to main...

http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=Onastacia

at the bottom you'll see the big stream of teemo.. then after that it's like... Idk what im doing..

once you go teemo....

how about yasuo then?

Don't own him, tried him once, dashing around was fun... xD

but idk if he's really my playstyle..

I wanted to play jungle a bit.. but idk.. im sick of jungle because every time I jungle they're in my jungle all the time and it's annoying and I tilt...

Aye.... ._.

Aptest1 votes

well i don't play jungle but from what i saw there are 2 basic solutions:

  1. play fast clear champions. ok they are in your jungle. it's already cleared. also you are in theirs taking twice the camps.
  2. play champions that farm ganks and care less about stolen farm. who cares if you're a stunbot by 20 minutes if your mid is 8/0/17?

Been wanting to play Nunu ... he clears fast right?

The only other one I good at is Rammus

I played amumu and got counter jungled hard..

Aptest1 votes

... idk how hard he clears. he's more about eating the big monster in camps on the other side of the river. and being the most annoying troll champion ever.

... amumu... the "general practice" when facing amumu is invade early and invade hard. with so many "I kill things" junglers out there, in not surprised you get invaded on.

Amumu is super strong even with invades against him but i think he's kinda boring as a champion.

If I could be.... I would... but I just fail all the time..

Low range compared to modt bot laners i think, and his team utulity doesnt match up with tbe otber support picks

Ur better off just bullying garens in top lane

It's one of those situations where he fits as a support, but there are proper supports that do his job better.

In my case, I tend to get sight, frost queen, shroom the lane to prevent ganks, then rush frozen mallet for more slows, zzrot for pushing, the rest depends on the enemy team comp.

But some people want hard CC or even shields+heals, so Teemo gets beaten in that department.

Gotcha

Pretty much only has blind, thats like pickimg quinn for her blind, and at least she has a minor displacement and vision.

He has a few problems. First, he's a mediocre laner in a 2v2 situation. Bad at peel, somewhat short ranged poke, not very resilient against getting gibbed. Second, he's very bad when behind. He's basically bringing the blind and the shrooms when he falls behind. That's just not very good in terms of utility, particularly in-fight utility. Finally, he's a terrible roamer, and that's a problem. If a support can't roam to help get kills once the early game is over, they'd better have something great to make up for it.

He can technically do the job, but there's usually a superior option.

He just doesn't offer much in the way of protection for his adc. Blind really isn't that great in a 2v2 for how vulnerable Teemo himself is. His range is too short to deal with poke supports, and he's very vulnerable to all-in supports who typically use abilities to lock someone and don't care that much if they are blinded.

I use to occasionally play him support, but admittedly haven't done so in a long time. The new red trinkets have really hurt his supporting since they disable the trap along with revealing it.

  1. He sucks if they have any sort of sustain support (as to be useful you want to chipping health away with your E since you have little utility).
  2. He is only so-so if they have good all-in potential as he has zero peel (said so-so over sucks because it depends on the enemy champs).
  3. The rest of your team will hate you, especially if you are not doing well (I use to only do it in teammaker, where everyone was happy to just get a support). If doing good fun to gloat in teammates faces though.

You basically play him as an AP support (built sightstone/FQC than all AP) where you poke them down with your E and occasionally Q the adc. If you can get you/your adc ahead your lane is a terror. If you can't then you are just best at stalling out the game by shrooming up your base so they can hopefully never push to win- I won a game by doing that once, but the game took close to 1:30-2 hours lol. That is enemy champ dependent.
