Is that what was making her strong? Do you guys even play this game? Do you think we have a hard time vs her in lane because of her FUCKING ultimate? It's the goddamn cancerous stun that punishes you for being able to control your damage taken more than the RETARDED irelia player . The fucking true damage that is SPAMMED by her new buffed item trinity force. Why would you nerf her Ultimate of ALL the things in her kit that were found annoying .

Another few months of banning her until you get your heads straight

Nerfs are nerfs, and they add up?

Are you trying to imply, that because whatever ability you're talking about didn't get nerfed, if everything else about her got changed to 0 she'd still be op? That's silly.

Why didn't whatever not get nerfed? idk, but usually it's because they don't want to change the identity of a champ or something like that

As an Irelia main myself, yes her ultimate is a big portion of her damage is lane, and the low cd makes it so you can all-in extremely often. Rather have that nerfed than Q or W really.

The nerf is quite good in fact.

On live, her ultimate has a CD low enough for Irelia to use it to push the lane (to prevent a dive for example when a big minion wave is coming her way). It deals also a good amount of damages and heals her for a portion of the damages done.

Also, each time she presses R, it counts as a spell and it procs item 3057 giving her a huge amount of damages. And since and item 3078 now give CDR, she can use it a lot during laning phase, making her all-in even more devastating thanks to the extra damages she gets from the proc.

I feel like ult cooldown nerfs are what riot does when they want to kinda look like they are doing something about an OP, but for whatever reason want to make sure it remainds OP for awhile longer...all I know is that ult CD nerfs are close to meaningless.

So Irelia is currently all inning / diving into people and slowing / stunning then and destroying them with true damage and sheen procs and Q's and her ult and completely out doing other champions? Next patch will be LITERALLY the exact same, except after she kills her opponent the first time, she will have to wait an extra 20 seconds before she takes another all in. Thats it. 20 extra seconds until she is ready to do anything from a 1v1 to a 1v3 and get a couple kills out of it. You know, the stuff she is getting nerfed for being capable of doing., she will be able to do the same exact thing, just 20 seconds later. A small damage nerf here and there would actually do something, this nerf will be one of those that does nothing but sticks around to be mildly annoying while actual damage nerfs come through in a couple more patches that will actually make a different and bring the champions winrate back down
