Please make Sterak's better, not cheaper

Costing 100 less gold doesn't make me want to buy the item as a juggernaut, especially with the buffs to item 3156 making it even better for those champions with CDR and sustain when the shield pops. I'd rather see the price go up in exchange getting the health back, a higher % base AD, or the shield scaling being more impressive.

Better yet, make the shield based off % bonus health so ranged carries and assassins can't abuse it again, then buff it for juggernauts accordingly. Add melee only for good measure, if you like.

From what I've seen it's a trap item on all but a select few champions. Get it too early and you lose out on much needed defensive and offensive stats, and get it too late and it simply does nothing. If you get it and don't have a lead you're screwed, and if you had a lead and lose it you likely won't be gaining it back.

I love the idea of it, but it just doesn't work out half the time.

Juggernauts naturally have extremely high base AD, and high health. Here's a tip: build Triforce with it, because it raises your base AD which Triforce interacts with. I've critted over 1k with Illaoi's W with Sterak's, Triforce, and Deadman's, no tentacles involved, because her base AD is 145, and 25% of that is 36.25, 50% of that is 72.5, which assuming you're level 18 would put your base AD at 181.25, and 217.5 respectively, meaning that your triforce proc does either 362.5 or 435 damage before resists, plus your total AD, plus deadman's if you have it. Sterak's is contributing 72.5 - 145 of that proc damage, as well as functioning as an amazing anti-burst item and AD item if the shield pops. Triforce also only has a 1.5 second CD between procs, so Sterak's is just beyond amazing on the right people. Sterak's is in a great place where it's at, doesn't even need to be cheaper, it's well worth the gold.

End game juggernauts get 4k+ health, meaning that shield pop is going to be over 1,300, supported by their armor and MR, and they have plenty of breathing room on poke. End game AD carries and assassins are looking at 2k, give or take 100, and it takes 1.8k damage end game to trigger Sterak's; what that means is that if they start a fight missing just a little bit of health the shield won't pop at all and they're just screwed, and even if it does pop they're literally just hanging on by that flimsy shield, not supported by any additional armor or MR. So that abuse you're talking about? Doesn't really exist, because if they get clipped by a skill then they've lost that shield, and assassins and MM have garbage base AD and hp, which means that it's useless to them at that point. I guess it could be a problem if you played right into the item's niche and dumped everything onto somebody with it, but then that's on you, not the item.
