Her W gets locked out with any form of movement CC (knockup/back) or Silence/Blinds The buff icon stays for 6-8s but you cant use it so all of her kit but Q is locked out.

Damaging her lowers the E debuff by 1s (this is for each tick of a DOT or Bleed or pet attack) making the debuff last a few seconds at most.

Debuff surely feels weird at times, especially against Naut E or abilities which u mentioned and it feels as if u didn't have a chance to do enough damage to it, feels as a waste of cd but it's fair, i feel it's ok. Anyways, proper placement of tentacles against Naut, for example, usually makes me ignore his spirit and just damage him. For what you get when playing Illaoi there should be some setbacks, even if hard ones, that's fair trade bmo.
