Playing support sucks.

Not because the role is bad or not needed, but because when the ADC dies it's always the support/junglers fault. If you do everything to prevent your adc from dying and they die because they did a bad engage or your spells are on cooldown it's your fault that they died. If you die it's your fault, if the jungler comes in and your adc dies and your jungler dies it's your fault.

At least with other roles like top, mid, and jungle, if you die or feed(feeding is not inting. There's no such thing as inting unless you're just walking up to the champ and dying). You will get blamed by pretty much everyone on the team. And that lets you know that ok "I'm stupid and worthless this round". But support, like my god it's horrible in that role. Nothing like getting constantly reminded every minute of the game until you lose or surrender that "you're fucking dumb" or "you're worthless" or "useless support" or "you suck"... Anyway you get the point.

When you play support, you're arguably sacrificing some fun because of the lack of damage to help others have their fun. Only to get blamed when your adc dies.

when u play top, you're sacrificing your fun and time and life so your bot can play the game.

when you pick top, its to be your adcs slave if you're looking to win

when you pick top, you're expecting to get ganked and dove and dicked over and over with no chance of coming back

when you pcik top, you either pick a tank or get absolutely dicked for playing a fighter.

tell me more about people blaming u for ur mistakes

Right top has it's challenges with the whole fighter vs tank and tanks these days arguably are better, but like I said. If you play top and feed, you're going to be hearing it from the whole team. If you play support and your ADC feeds you're going to be hearing it from your ADC and your team will usually just stay silent.

Which is exactly why when they die, ill point out the mistake they made on their part, as well as my own. Ive found that it dosent nessicerily stop the adc from blaming you sometimes, but it ensures to the rest of the team that your still co-operative and therefore less likeley to be a scapegoat, because the team can also see its not just YOU making the mistakes

More often then not, the adc will listen to 4 others telling him hes playing too aggressively

But in all honesty its kinda in the job description to keep the peace even if you have to sacrifice yourself

Problem is the ADC has to tell the team that "this support is useless" for that exact reason you mentioned. Using you as a scapegoat to justify their crappy gameplay.

That only happens if your teammates are assholes. Try to ignore them (mute them if you like), do your best to win, and report them once the match is over.

You can just play a damage support if what you prefer to do is damage. Some mages can be taken bot as well if that's more your thing.

It's not just support, everyone in the game is adc-centric in some way.

If someone on my team does something I think is dumb, I'm not going to be like "omg useless jungler" because that does nothing but make them play worse. The other day I had an ezreal tell me to "get the fuck out of his lane". so I did. It was not a fun game, but I didn't want to support him if we was going to be like that.
